We are an in-network provider for the above insurance companies. For all other insurance companies, we are considered out of network. This means that if you do not have one of the accepted insurances listed above you must pay out of pocket for the counseling sessions. S2V can provide you with a super bill as a receipt of payment. The super bill may be used as a statement for insurance for possible reimbursement. A super bill is not a guarantee of reimbursement from your insurance company. It is solely your responsibility to find out your insurance company’s policies and to file for out of network insurance reimbursement.

Helpful Insurance Information

Out of Network Services may be covered in full or in part by your health insurance or employee benefit plan. It is solely your responsibility to contact your insurance company regarding possible reimbursement.

Please check your coverage carefully by contacting your insurance carrier and

asking the following questions:

  • Do I have behavioral health benefits?
  • Will I be reimbursed fully or partially for using an out of network provider for my behavioral health services?
  • Do I have a deductible, has it been met, does it have to be met before my coverage/benefits begin?
  • How many sessions per year am I allowed?
  • Do I have a copay or coinsurance amount that I have to pay at each session?
  • Is prior approval required from my insurance or primary care physician?
